BIC Corporate Foundation Supports Four New Projects Advancing Education and Inclusion.

JULY 2026 – The BIC Corporate Foundation has selected four organizations that will receive support as part of its 2026 Call for Projects. Driven by the commitment of BIC employees, this eighth edition will support, over a three-year period, initiatives that promote access to education, creativity, and inclusion for children and young people from underserved communities.

Over the next three years, these organizations will receive co-funding from the BIC Corporate Foundation and local BIC entities to develop their programs and expand their impact within the communities they serve.

This year, four organizations based in Nigeria, Greece, Ukraine, and Kenya were selected for the quality and impact of their projects, reflecting the diversity of the communities where BIC operates.

Supported Organizations

Slum2School Africa (Nigeria) provides community-driven educational solutions for the most vulnerable children and young people. Its approach combines access to quality education, teacher training, scholarships, health services, and creative technology-enabled learning methods to help them develop the skills and resilience needed to thrive.
ActionAid Hellas (Greece) engages young people around sustainable development, climate action, and food systems through projects that combine artistic expression with civic engagement.
Ukrainian Down Syndrome (Ukraine) develops accessible educational resources to help people with intellectual disabilities build healthy life habits, strengthen their communication skills, and gain greater independence through creative approaches.
The Art of Music Foundation (Kenya) expands access to music education and training for children and young people from underserved communities in Nairobi through structured learning programs and the development of creative skills among both students and educators.

BIC Employees at the Heart of the Selection Process

Each year, the Call for Projects invites BIC employees to nominate local organizations whose missions align with the Foundation’s commitment to promoting access to quality education that encourages creativity and inclusion. Through this program, the Foundation, in partnership with local BIC sites, provides financial support to high-impact initiatives while strengthening employee engagement in community projects around the world.

The 2026 awardees were selected by a committee made up of 19 BIC employees representing different regions and functions across the company. Projects were evaluated based on their social impact, long-term sustainability potential, and ability to create lasting opportunities for children and young people.

A Flagship Foundation Initiative

Since its launch, the Call for Projects has become a flagship initiative of the BIC Corporate Foundation. It creates connections between BIC employees and local organizations while supporting innovative projects that empower children and young people to develop their skills, build confidence, and access the opportunities they need to shape their futures.

By giving children and young people the ability to explore the world around them and question it, the Foundation contributes to the development of creative skills that break down barriers and help build stronger, more innovative communities.
