BIC® Unveils 2025 Campaign Showcasing Self-Expression Through Cosplay and Iconic 4 Colour™ Pens 

Teaming up with World-Renowned Cosplayer Alyson Tabbitha 

Clichy, France – August 22, 2025 – BIC®, a global leader in stationery, razor and lighter products, is bringing fresh energy and a creative twist to its “A Pen for Every Side of You” campaign with the launch of the 2025 Cosplay Creator Activation. The campaign reimagines BIC’s iconic 4 Colour™ pen through the lens of cosplay, anime and self-expression culture through a collaboration starring world-famous cosplayer Alyson Tabbitha. 

This bold new chapter builds on the existing “A Pen for Every Side of You” campaign, continuing BIC’s mission to celebrate creativity and freedom of expression. By strengthening and exploring BIC’s connection with the growing global influence of anime, manga and cosplay culture. The result is a one-of-a-kind activation merging art, fandom and fashion that positions the pen as more than a writing tool, but a launchpad for creative identity. 

A Unique Collaboration with Global Cosplay Icon Alyson Tabbitha 

At the heart of the activation is a partnership with Alyson Tabbitha, one of the world’s most celebrated cosplay artists. Known for her transformative character portrayals, Alyson was invited to create original cosplay looks inspired by the bold designs of BIC’s 4 Colour ™ pens. 

Her creations include: 

  • Dragon Warrior, inspired by the vibrant 4 Colour Shine pen 
  • Fairy Princess, imagined from the soft palette of the 4 Colour Pastel 
  • Expressive Artist, brought to life by the urban hues of 4 Colour Hydrodrip 

Each character was first sketched by Alyson using a 4 Colour™ pen before being brought to life in full costume. This effort was also highlighted in a new behind-the-scenes video that captures her creative process coming soon.

Tapping into a Global Cultural Movement 

This activation also reflects a larger trend. Anime and manga have grown into a global phenomenon, with the market currently valued at $34 billion and projected to double by 2030. BIC’s consumer research shows that nearly 50% of Gen Z globally engages with anime or manga content weekly, with especially strong participation in the US, UK, France, Brazil, and Australia. 

Cosplay represents a powerful platform for self-expression. With fans crafting entire identities around favorite characters, genres, or even abstract aesthetics, it aligns closely with BIC’s ongoing mission: giving people tools to express every side of who they are.
